Live like you want is our anthem. The brief for designing the apartment was to
create something comfortable and informal. And to do justice to this we
created a space with simple planning, minimalistic furniture and neutral
shades.
The layout and linearity of the living space is broken by adding a visual
barricade at the entrance to add aesthetics as well as create some privacy.
The living room was divided into two as a formal sitting as well as a dining
space. This huge space opens into west and has French windows overlooking
lush green tress, which brings nature into this enclosed area.
A neutral colour pallet of cotton whites and mushrooms are used on the walls
of the living room. The space is punctuated with forest green natural
background of the tress.
The master bedroom was designed with a niche having a glass window,
which looks into the living room. This niche is carved out to create a space for
the child. This facilitates the lady of the hose to keep an eye on the child while
they relax in the living room.
A linear circulation is created for smooth movement of the inhabitants of the
apartment.
